Oracle Community RoundTable

Using VMware in the Public Cloud – Oracle Community RoundTable – January 2021

Things are definitely strange at the moment and with #LockDownNo3 in full effect within the UK, this does give us some time to reflect and catch up on some great technology events, I’d like to kick start my 2021 blogging with a great webinar from Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, with a Roundtable event with vExperts from across Europe and the Middle East on Using VMware in the Public Cloud.

This event was hosted by John Troyer (Principal Product Manager – Oracle) and
Thom Greene (Principal Cloud Solutions Architect – Oracle), moderated by Patrick Redknap with a very reputable guest panel including.

The event can be found at the following url, check it out in your spare time !!!

This roundtable event covers cloud readiness, bursting into the public cloud and the operational readiness that Oracle can provide with their OCVS offering providing full control of the stack, reducing the operational readiness and providing full control in the public cloud. The Oracle Cloud VMware Solution provides a customer managed, native VMware-based cloud environment, installed within a customer’s tenancy and offers complete control using familiar VMware tools allowing you to move or extend VMware-based workloads to the cloud without rearchitecting applications or retooling operations. Allowing your business to consume and operate in a secure public cloud within a secure boundary.
